![]() If you're a lot farther than me, then lessons might take longer. My lessons range from about 1.5 minutes to 8 minutes, but they average around 3 minutes. Now I know the areas I actually want to focus on grammar and drill those instead, and I just use Duo for more practice. I am actually answering the questions as he goes, if I was just casually listening it would be as impactful. It's not just the way it's presented, but it's that I have to think through my answers on my own instead of having multiple choice options. It gives me a way better idea of where I should be putting my focus at a given time.īut also, honestly, I started listening to the Language Transfer course, and just using that seems to be cementing stuff I struggled with for a long time thanks to Duolingo. I have found my progress seems to be much better now that I'm talking to people online, and trying to put what I know into practice. Once you get the basics under your belt, it's a really, really good idea to start adding other stuff instead. While I agree with you on some level and still use Duolingo daily, I have to agree that it's pretty inefficient.
